FAN’s goal is simple: to provide the extras that enhance the educational experience of current students:

Frequently Asked Questions

  • FAN Grants are a way for the Finneytown Alumni Network to give back to current Wildcats. They provide funding for projects, programs, and ideas that directly support students, teachers, and classrooms.

  • Teachers, staff, student groups, and even parents working on student-focused projects can apply. If it helps Finneytown students learn, grow, or shine — it’s eligible.

  • We’ve designed FAN Grants to be flexible. Classroom supplies, innovative lessons, equipment, field trips, arts initiatives, and special projects are all on the table. If it benefits current students, we want to hear about it.

  • Most grants range from a few hundred dollars up to a few thousand. We encourage applicants to ask for what they truly need while keeping in mind that FAN is here to spread support as widely as possible.

  • A FAN committee reviews each application, focusing on how the project connects to student success and community impact.

  • Yes. We focus on student-centered projects and typically don’t fund salaries, ongoing operational costs, or purely social events.

  • By becoming a FAN Member, donating, or attending events like Alumni Weekend. Every bit of support fuels more grants.
