Everything You Need to Know About the 2026 FAN Golf Scramble
There’s a moment every year when the scramble stops feeling like a golf outing and starts feeling like Finneytown.
Maybe it’s standing on the tee box waiting for the group ahead to clear while someone recognizes an old classmate from 30 years ago. Maybe it’s the sound of laughter rolling across the course after somebody drains a long putt they’ll talk about all weekend. Or maybe it’s what happened last year after 18, when golfers, volunteers, alumni, parents, teachers, and friends all gathered around the clubhouse after a full day together and nobody seemed ready to leave.
That’s the thing about the FAN Golf Scramble. It’s never just golf.
It’s 200 Wildcats spread across a course, reconnecting across generations, telling stories, remembering coaches and teachers, meeting new people, and showing up for the next generation of Finneytown students. And once you’ve been part of it, you know it’s something you’d miss if you weren’t there.
The Third Annual Jim Dickerson Finneytown Alumni Golf Scramble is coming this September, and it’s shaping up to be the biggest one yet.

Registration Information
The cost is $125 per golfer, and spots are expected to fill quickly.
Each golfer receives:
18 holes with a riding cart
Finneytown Alumni merch
Food ticket
Two drink tickets
Door prizes and contest holes
A full day with the Finneytown community

A simple and meaningful way to support the event.
Includes hole signage with your name or logo.
FAN Sponsor — $1,000
Includes one foursome (4 golfers); hole sponsor signage; and social media recognitions.
Wildcat Sponsor — $2,500
Includes one foursome; hole sponsor signage; social media recognitions; plus additional signage at registration, the Legacy Celebration, and the Warder Wobble.
Legacy Sponsor — $5,000
Includes one foursome; hole sponsor signage; social media recognitions; signage at additional events; plus logo placement on a cart bag item.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I register as an individual?
Yes. Individual golfers are welcome, and FAN will help place you with a foursome whenever possible. Reach out to Parker Payne at parkerpayne15@gmail.com and he’ll help connect you with a team.
Is this only for alumni?
Not at all. Alumni, parents, staff, community members, and friends of Finneytown are all welcome.
Is the event competitive?
Yes and no. There are prizes, contests, and plenty of friendly competition, but the heart of the day is community.

Every dollar raised from the Golf Scramble directly supports FAN’s Legacy Projects, including the Competition Gym renovation, the PAC renovation, and the future of Finneytown schools.
