$3.2 Million Raised. A Campus Taking Shape. We're Just Getting Started.
Something big is taking shape on Winton Road, and for the first time, you can see the whole thing. At the most recent board meeting, the renderings for the future of our campus went public. The new secondary school. The renovated Performing Arts Center. The Competition Gym. All of it, together.
Here's where things stand, and where they're headed.
$3.2 million raised for the Legacy Projects
As of today, Finneytown alumni, families, and friends have given $3.2 million toward the Legacy Projects.
That's over 250 donors, and we're not done yet. We've set a goal of $10 million over the next few years. A number like that takes everyone. If Finneytown shaped you, now's the time to invest in it.
See what's coming
For the first time, you can see it all together. Here's the vision, broken into three pieces.
A quick note: these are concept renderings, not the final product. They show the direction and the intent. Details will evolve as the work moves forward.
The new campus
The new secondary school opens at the end of this year, and it anchors a campus rebuilt for the next generation of Wildcats.
The Performing Arts Center
A full renovation of the space where Finneytown students perform, rehearse, and find their voice.
One note: this work won't be finished when the new campus opens later this year. The PAC renovation continues past that, and we'll keep you posted as it moves.
The Competition Gym
The interior of the gym has been renovated. Up next: The locker rooms and lobby!
Same here: the Competition Gym renovation keeps going past the campus opening. We're not done with this one yet, and we'll share updates as the work continues.
$110,000 going straight to Finneytown students this year
New buildings matter. But more than that, we care about the students in them.
So this year, on top of the Legacy Projects, FAN is investing more than $110,000 directly into the organizations doing the work on the ground:
Elementary PTA
Secondary PTA
Athletic Boosters
FMPA
FAA
This goes straight to the educational experience of our current students. Their classrooms. Their teams. Their stage. Their music. Not someday. This school year.
That's the mission. Enrich the experience for current and future students, and build a community that keeps showing up for them. This is what it looks like in practice.
Every gift is doubled. No cap.
A leadership match is in place through December 31, 2026. Every cash gift to FAN is matched dollar for dollar.
A $100 gift becomes $200. A $1,000 gift becomes $2,000. A $25,000 commitment becomes $50,000. No cap, and the clock is real.
Two ways to show up this fall
The Jim Dickerson Alumni Golf Scramble is back. Thursday, September 25, at Glenview. We're already over half full, with 20 teams in and more on the way. Spots are going fast.
The Legacy Celebration is Saturday, September 26. This is where we mark what's been built and talk about what's next. You'll want to be in the room.
We're just getting started
A new campus is taking shape. $110,000 is heading to Finneytown students this year. And $3.2 million says alumni believe this place is worth building. Here's how to keep it going:
Give while the match is live. Every dollar counts twice.
Register for the Golf Scramble on September 25th before it fills.
Save your seat for the Legacy Celebration on September 26th
